CEO
LSL Capital

Samyukta first obtained a bachelor's degree in Sociology with Psychology from The City University, London, before undertaking a M.Sc. in International Business from The University of Nottingham. As part of her studies, she attended business school in China and travelled extensively around this country to cities such as Ningbo, Nanjing, Hanghzou & Shanghai.

Samyukta’s discerning eye for aesthetics teamed with an Executive MBA degree from Ecole Hoteliere de Lausanne, Switzerland, enabled her to start out as a Design & Operations Associate at The Leela Palaces, Hotels & Resorts, (the company founded by her late grandfather, Captain CP Krishnan Nair). After working her way to becoming the Head of Design and Operations at The Leela, in pursuit of entrepreneurial beginnings, Samyukta launched a luxury sleepwear and lifestyle label 'Dandelion' in 2015.

Following this, she combined her twin passions for gastronomy and design together to launch two Indian restaurants in the heart of Mayfair, London; the Michelin-starred fine dining Indian concept Jamavar in December 2016 and the hip and buzzing Bombay Bustle in 2017 helmed by Culinary Director Surender Mohan. Further, alongside her father Dinesh Nair, Samyukta co-founded LSL Capital with the launch of MiMi Mei fair, a discreet dining destination that journeys through Hong Kong, Singapore and mainland China. Thereafter came KOYN, a multi-faceted Asian dining destination, featuring Japanese and Thai cuisines with Chef Rhys Cattermoul and Rose Chalalai Singh on Grosvenor Street. Her most recent venture in Mayfair from Samyukta is Nipotina, a neighborhood Italian with dishes inspired by head chef Somaia Hammad’s grandmother’s family recipes which opened its doors on the 4th of November 2024.

Samyukta has recently taken the success of Jamavar and MiMi Mei Fair to Dubai, with Jamavar opening on the 30th of August and MiMi Mei Fair opening on the 12th of December at the Address Residences, Opera district, Downtown Dubai.
