The EU Study Tour is a key feature of the R200 programme, the study tour brings together multi-site operators and industry professionals for a two-day visit to a European city to explore innovative concepts, ingredients, and high-profile restaurants. Past destinations have included Paris, Seville, Naples, Amsterdam, Barcelona, San Sebastian, Malaga, Rome and most recently, Marseille.

This year, we are excited to continue this tradition by heading to Porto, a historic city in northwest Portugal, famed for its vibrant culinary culture and fast‑growing reputation as one of Europe’s top food destinations. Its food scene blends traditional dishes with contemporary creativity, from classics like the francesinha and fresh Atlantic seafood to innovative menus crafted by a new wave of chefs. With a rapidly expanding restaurant landscape, including 10 Michelin‑starred restaurants, the city offers an exceptional taste of Portuguese gastronomy.
